My bankruptcy was discharged in 2004 and I have not applied for a credit card until very recently (Secured MasterCard with Capitol One).I am planning to buy a house in the near future, what are some good ways to build some serious credit fast!I also have $ 5,000 available to invest into savings, GIC?s, etc. Best answer:

I would try to build up good credit with a local bank By taking out loans and paying them back smallish. You can use the 5000 dollars as collateral.
