People worldwide have been for varying reasons hooked, so to speak, on the sports that we know of to be boxing and for decades people are on the lookout for the great ones who come and stay known in this industry. One such name is Klitschko. Now this is not only referring to one powerful man but two as the brothers of Ukrainian descent have made their marks on the history of boxing. Their names have become synonymous to Great Boxing.
Perhaps if you are one with the name Klitschko you may be ever proud of what these brothers have achieved where there has never been anything like their achievement in the history of such an industry. Both Vitali and Wladimir are heavyweight boxers residing in Germany where they are actually big media stars appearing on German TV shows and commercials and jointly running the ?K2 Promotions? and ?K2 East Promotions?. You see, their fight is not merely found inside the ring.
Of course the Klitschko has been around and in competition with other great boxers the likes of Felix Sturm a German middleweight WBO title holder. The record has it that Wladimir Klitschko was already world heavyweight champion with the WBO, IBF and IBO when his brother came back from a four year career break following a series of injuries. Upon his return Vitali Klitschko defeated Samuel Peter and regained the title for the WBC world heavyweight champion in the year 2008. To date, Wladimir also won the WBA title, making a mark in history of both Klitschko holding all of the World Heavyweight Titles. Now if this isn?t proof that their names come synonymous to greatness in their field of expertise, what is?
With a combined professional record of 99 wins and 5 defeats these brothers have really defined greatness to a whole new level for all the other boxers worldwide. Indeed Klitschko has proven that when there is unity amongst family there can be unified success where these two swore to never be in the position of having to fight each other.
